Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of photographing this cool little guy, Andy, and his mom Tammy. Andy just turned 3, so it was time for some new pictures of the dashing young man. Poor Andy was just getting over a bout with sickness which had delayed our session a bit, but he was feeling much better this week and we really wanted to squeeze in the pictures while there were still some pretty fall colors in the park. As it turned out, we had a beautiful day for shooting. It could have been a wee bit warmer, but I’m not complaining.
It took him just a little bit to warm up. Which may have had something to do with the nice nap he’d been enjoying on the ride over. He snuggled with mom for awhile, and got used to the lady with the camera making funny noises at him.
I just loved the way the light rimmed his handsome face in this shot.
Trying not to smile, but he just can’t help it!
It didn’t take long and he was ready to play! He loved checking out the leaves, sticks and rocks along the path.
We decided to end with just a few more shots by the creek. Even with the chilly temps, Andy couldn’t help getting wet, despite his mom’s pleas to the the contrary.
Getting a few last rock tosses in, and finally getting hauled out by mom 🙂
I’ll end with what I have deemed “sweetest shot of the day”.
Thanks Tammy and Andy! It was great meeting you both.
